Working with Jane was never dull! She always had so many stories that made us howl with laughter: Michelle phoning her up, asking if a pig on the loose in their village was Jane's; it wasn't but Jane came and rescued it any way! Lambing at all hours, Megan sometimes messaging her at work to tell her she was in with the sheep and one or more were on their way; eating guinea pigs and baby alpaca (or llama?) up a mountain on one of her amazing trips abroad; but the absolute best for me was Megan bringing home a three legged dog called Kolin...but spelled with a K. Jane was incredulous and swiftly changed his name to Todd!
We will miss her care for us and the children she worked with, her laughter, her stories. Mostly I will miss her endless pride in Megan; as her teacher from joining SHSCC in 2012 until 2015, I loved hearing about how she was getting on at the RVC and Jane glowed with pride whenever she told us about Megan. Sending all my love to you and your dad x
